This one day course will provide the delegates with the knowledge and understanding of how to produce simple but effective presentations which include images and sound. The course will include software tools and techniques to structure, edit and format slides and prepare slides for presentation.


Delegates should be familiar with the keyboard and Microsoft Windows Operating System. Familiarity of the PowerPoint interface would be an advantage.

Drag and drop, find, replace, undo and redo, size, crop and position objects
Wrap text, add lines and simple shapes
Use of text boxes
Combine images, charts or tables with text by inserting, re-sizing and positioning
Text alignment and formatting
Inserting Charts and diagrams
Check Grammar and Spelling
Insert a screenshot or screen clipping

Format slides
Bullets, numbering, line spacing, alignment, colour, fonts, size, and backgrounds
